The Noel Behn collection consists of Behn’s manuscripts for his novels (both published by Simon and Schuster) The Kremlin Letter (1966) and The Shadowboxer (1969). Both are present in several variant drafts, and include preliminary notes, sketches, and proofs.
Also included in the collection is the screenplay adaptation of The Kremlin Letter written by John Houston and Gladys Hill and released by Twentieth Century-Fox in 1970. In addition to the manuscript, the collection includes letters and a press kit regarding the film.
Other items include the published version of a book review by Behn, and a program for Behn’s 20th high school reunion.
