Morgan Family
Scope:
The Morgan Family collection includes correspondence, diaries and journals, printed materials, and photographs.

Correspondence in the collection includes both family and professional correspondence from 1867 to 1966. The collection mostly includes family letters from Helen and James Morgan to their parents, letters from Europe and the Middle East, and publishers’ correspondence with James Morgan.

Diaries and journals in the collection consist of Helen Morgan’s religious musings, nursing care, and European travel diaries dated from 1891 to 1929, as well as a few typed compilations of James Morgan’s correspondence.

Printed materials include genealogical materials on the Morgan, Bruce, and related families, autobiographical writings by several family members, and some loose scrapbook pages.

The collection also includes miscellaneous photographs.
