Ellin, Stanley (1916-1986)
Scope:
The Stanley Ellin collection includes manuscripts, correspondence, printed materials, and other items.

Manuscripts consist of novels, shorter works of fiction and non-fiction, and manuscripts by others. Published works by Ellin include House of Cards (Random House, 1967), The Valentine Estate (Random House, 1968), The Bind (Random House, 1970), Mirror, Mirror on the Wall (Random House, 1972), Stronghold (Random House, 1975), and The Luxembourg Run (Random House, 1977).

The collection also includes personal and professional correspondence written between the 1950s and 1980s. Correspondents of note include Isaac Asimov, Michael Avallone, Vera Nabokov, and others.

Printed materials include reviews by Ellin of works by others, as well as reviews by others of works by Ellin. The collection also includes clippings, posters, advertisements, magazines, and other materials.

Other items include travel journals kept between 1962 and 1968, research materials, and  autograph inscriptions to Ellin from various authors.
