Scope:
The Paul F. Jennings collection consists of manuscripts and other material.

Manuscripts by Jennings in the collection includes drafts of his books The Train to Yesterday (Harrap and Co., 1974); Britain As She Is Visit (Michael Joseph, 1976); And Now For Something Exactly the Same (Gollancz, 1977); A Feast of Days (Macdonald and Co., 1982); The Phoney; and other works.

Other items in the collection include six audio tapes recorded as research for The Living Village: A Report on Rural Life in England and Wales (Hodder and Stoughton, 1968); the sixth tape also includes material for Just a Few Lines (Guinness Superlatives, 1969).  In addition, the collection includes two tapes of Jennings's lecture "Any Fool Can Be Serious" at the Essex University Association, 1979; correspondence; printed items; and a record album.
