Scope:
The Edith Patterson Meyer collection consists of manuscripts and proofs for her books That Remarkable Man Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes (Little, Brown, 1967); First Lady of the Renaissance: A Biography of Isabella d'Este (Little, Brown, 1970); For Goodness Sake: Growing Up in a New England Parsonage (Abingdon Press, 1973); Not Charity, But Justice: The Story of Jacob A. Riis (Vanguard, 1974); and Petticoat Patriots of the American Revolution (Vanguard, 1976). The collection also includes letters to Meyer from John Baker (1971) and J. Riis Owre (1973), regarding Meyer's research on Jacob Riis.
