Morice, Anne (1918-1989)
Scope:
The Anne Morice collection includes manuscripts, correspondence, and printed materials.

Manuscripts in the collection include her novels Death at the Center; Death in the Grand Manor (1970); Death and the Dutiful Daughter (1973); Death of a Heavenly Twin (1974); Engagement with Murder; Killing with Kindness (1974); Murder by Proxy; Murder on French Leave (1975); and Nursery Tea and Poison (1975). Also included is the play Dummy Run and a short, incomplete manuscript written in French.

Correspondence in the collection includes letters from 1977 regarding Morice’s play Dummy Run. Notable correspondents include Roland Culver, Athene Fielding, and Philip Newman.

Printed materials in the collection include a publicity poster, a program, and several newspaper clippings, mostly for Dummy Run (1977).
