Reagan, Thomas B. (1916-1992)
Scope:
The Thomas B. Reagan Collection consists of manuscripts, correspondence, and printed material.

Manuscripts consist of outlines and drafts of Reagan's novels. The outlines in the collection are for The Caper (1969), as well as Reagan's unpublished works Medal of Honor, Melody Kerwyn, The Raiders, Seven, and Subway to Merzfeld. Novel drafts include published works such as Blood Money (1970), The Caper (1969), and The Inside-Out Heist (1970), as well as drafts of unpublished novels The Barbarossa Cup (1964) and The Burroughs Holdup.

Correspondence in the collection includes letters from publishers, agents, friends, and readers, dating from 1963-1970. Notable figures include Davis Dresser, Helen McCloy, Rex Stout, and Harriet Van Horne. A letter from Reagan to The Famous Writers School, containing Reagan's resume, is also included.

Printed material primarily consists of page proofs and book reviews of Reagan's novels, as well as a preface to the Reagan family history written by Reagan's aunt, Alice Lusk Reagan.
