Skinner, Richard Dana (1893-1941)
Scope:
The Richard Dana Skinner collection primarily consists of correspondence between Skinner and various individuals. Notable correspondents include Eugene O’Neill (1922-1937), Carlotta O’Neill, Agnes O’Neill, Henry Cabot Lodge, Brooks Atkinson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Franklin D. Roosevelt (1922-1937).
 
Other material in the collection includes the manuscript for Skinner’s Eugene O’Neill: A Poet’s Quest (Longmans, Green and Co., 1935); 3 photographs of Eugene O’Neill; diary notes by Skinner; a journal by Francis David; a file of papers regarding Elizabeth Ellery Dana; and two audio cassette tapes of an oral history by Skinner’s daughter, Mrs. Henrietta Raymond.
