Starke, Roland (1960-2007)
The Roland Starke collection consists of manuscripts, professional material, correspondence, audio/visual material, photographs, and other items.
Manuscripts in the collection mostly consist of teleplays and screenplays, along with several short stories, poems, memoirs, plays, and novel drafts.  Novels in the collection include Once You've Seen Eden, The Fourteen, Falling off the Richter scale, The Towers of Open Fire, and ZIM.

Professional material in the collection consists of contracts, resumes, and other financial and legal documents including power of attorney contracts, death certificates, and bank statements.

Correspondence in the collection includes both personal and professional letters, including postcards, invitations, greeting cards and emails to and from Starke and his various publishers, producers, and agents as well as family and friends. The items date from 1975 to 2003.
Audio/visual material consists of audio cassettes including a "'Song for a King' Demo Tape" as well as some other rough musical material for Starke's production of Girlie.

Photographs in the collection include numerous candid photos from Starke’s life, many of which are inscribed on the back, as well as several photographs of Starke and his family.

Other material in the collection includes magazine and newspaper clippings regarding Starke or his work, as well as several printed items used as research material; medical records; publicity material; booklets; maps, tickets, business cards, and other miscellaneous items; and floppy disks containing drafts of books, screenplays, and teleplays.
