The Christine Weston collection contains correspondence and manuscripts.
Correspondence includes one handwritten letter to E.M. Forster in June of 1944, and 22 letters to Saros Cowasjee from May 1984 to April 1988. Also included are 15 pages of Cowasjee’s letters to Weston’s American agents between January and May 1984.
Manuscripts include Weston’s introduction to Indigo, what became the “Author’s Note” of the published novel. Also included is a copy of a memorandum agreement between Weston and an agent for the reprinting of her novel. A second memorandum is included from June 1984 with Weston’s signature, sent with the first edition of Indigo.
