The Arch Whitehouse collection consists of manuscripts by Whitehouse for his books Adventure in the Sky (Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1961); Subs and Submariners (Doubleday, 1961); Decisive Air Battles of World War I (Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1963); Amphibious Operations (Doubleday, 1964); Espionage and Counter Espionage (Doubleday, 1964); The Fledgling (Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1964); Heroes and Legends of World War I (Doubleday, 1964); Squadron Forty-Four (Doubleday, 1965); The Early Birds (Doubleday, 1965); The Zeppelin Fighters (Doubleday, 1966); The Sky’s the Limit (Macmillan, 1970); and The Casket Crew (Doubleday, 1971).
Also present are five small spiral notebooks with notes regarding World War II, and a photograph of Whitehouse in his war correspondent's uniform, taken during World War II.
