Kinzer, Stephen (1951- )
Scope:
The Stephen Kinzer collection consists of research material, printed material, photographs, and an audio recording.

Research material includes posters regarding Nicaraguan history (1982-1984); and various other items (publications, notes, manuscripts, government documents, and letters) mostly regarding Nicaragua and Central America, ca. 1970-1990; in English and Spanish.

Printed material includes various newspaper and magazines, including four issues of the Nicaraguan newspaper Barricada (1988); and a book jacket for Kinzer's book Blood of Brothers: Life and War in Nicaragua.

Photographs in the collection include several prints of Kinzer in various locations in Nicaragua and elsewhere, as well as Kinzer interviewing Oscar Aria (President of Costa Rica); Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown (American singer); and Eden Pastora ("Comandante Cero" of the Contras).

The audio is a compact disc recording of an interview of Kinzer on National Public Radio (2011).
