The Jill Robinson collection consists of manuscripts, printed materials, correspondence, scrapbooks, and others.
Manuscripts include drafts of Robinson’s novels Bed/Time/Story (1975) and Past Forgetting: My Memory Lost and Found (1999), drafts of her novel co-written by Stuart Shaw Falling in Love When You Thought You Were Through (2002), and drafts of various short stories.
Printed materials consist of articles on Robinson, book jackets from Bed/Time/Story (1975), and a review on her novel Perdido (1979).
Correspondence includes 1950s love letters between Robinson and her former husband John Zimmer, fan mail ranging from 1974 to 1978, and personal letters and cards ranging from 1964 to 2003. Notable correspondents include Barbara Walters.
Scrapbooks consist of articles written by Robinson, and photographs and newspaper clippings pertaining to film director and producer Dore Schary, Robinson’s father.
