Lois Swann - Author
This small exhibition followed the life and career of the poet and novelist Lois Swann. Since an early age, Lois Swann was interested in writing, poetry, and the arts and has pursued these interests throughout her life. Swann studied drama, worked as editor of The Marquette Journal, and received the Bohem Memorial Prize for Poetry. Her first published novel, The Mists of Manittoo, received much acclaim and was published by Scribner in 1976. The book was followed by the 1981 sequel, Torn Covenants.
