July 14, 1963
July 14, 1963. Running time: 29:08. Faith affirms and confirms life and is an expression of community in the sense that all of life belongs together. Violence is a force which seeks to deny the sense of belonging by the imposition of its will on another or by the destruction of the life of another. Nonviolence is a force which seeks to win the assent of both the violent individual and system by affirming the sense of belong. Once the barriers in society are removed, then the need to care and to be cared for must be affirmed.
