The inner light can also be described as a dimension of personality that is beyond interpretation. An element of life that illuminates. Divine light is an essential part of humanity and a present element of life. There is a fluid center in man in which a man's essence becomes known to him, what Thurman calls "the indigenous, autonomy of human spirit." The anxieties and discord within us disrupts this fluid center and its communion with God.
